John C.E. Sung was born in Gainesville, Florida and attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate and law degrees.He has a unique, and diverse background in the insurance industry having begun his career as an All-Lines Adjuster forNationwide Insurance Company, handling claims in Florida, Georgia & Alabama.  He has also served as Staff Counsel for TheHartford Insurance Company, Preferred Governmental Claim Solutions, Lead Florida Counsel for Patriot National InsuranceCompany and Senior Staff Counsel for AmTrust Financial Services. His experience brings a wealth of experience to Znosko and Reas, P.A.

John has extensive private law practice experience, as a prior equity partner in the firm of  Langston, Hess, Bolton, Znosko & Helm, et al. and focused his practice on worker's compensation defense, appeals, subrogation and liability cases. He has represented numerous insurers, TPA's and large self-insured employers in all aspects of workers' compensation matters. He has also practiced family law and mediated as a certified circuit, family, and qualified residential foreclosure mediator, bringing many cases to resolution, and is a Certified Federal Mediator for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of   Florida. John is individually rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. This level of achievement exemplifies the Firm’s commitment to excellence.

An avid outdoors and sports fan, you can find John playing pickleball, tennis, hiking, kayaking, and supporting the FloridaGators. He also enjoys going to Disney theme parks and resorts as a perfect balance of activities.
